| Biosearch Technologies DMT-C3(Biotin)-CPG is specifically suited for preparation of 3' Biotin labeled oligonucleotides. The biotin moiety is linked to CPG via a three carbon spacer. This support has a succinate linkage to the CPG, which can be cleaved using standard cleavage protocols. Synthesis can proceed in a manner analogous to the use of a normal nucleotide support. The biotin labeling can be detected through the use of enzyme labeled avidin or strepavidin conjugates. |

| - Cleavage conditions: Use concentrated ammonia for 90 minutes at 25° C or 1:1 ammonia:methylamine (AMA) for 25 minutes at 25° C.- Deprotection conditions:The deprotection conditions will depend on the type of amidite protecting groups used to synthesize the oligo. If using fast deprotecting amidites (eg. C-Ac, G-DMF) deprotect in concentrated NH4OH for 1 hour at 60°C. For standard amidites (eg. C-Bz, G-iBu) deprotect in concentrated NH4OH for 5 hours at 60 °C.- The mass this product adds after conjugation and work-up (the additional mass seen by mass spectrometry) is:379.37 |
