| The Human Interleukin 18 (Hu IL-18) ELISA quantitates Hu IL-18 in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, urine or other body fluids. The assay will exclusively recognize both natural and recombinant Hu IL-18.人白介素18（Hu IL-18）ELISA定量了人血清，血浆，细胞培养上清液，尿液或其他体液中的Hu IL-18。 该检测试剂盒将只识别天然和重组Hu IL-18。Principle of the method 方法原理The Human IL-18 solid-phase sandwich ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) is designed to measure the amount of the target bound between a matched antibody pair. A target-specific antibody has been pre-coated in the wells of the supplied microplate. Samples or controls are then added into these wells and bind to the immobilized (capture) antibody. The sandwich is formed by the binding of the second (detector) antibody to the target on a different epitope from the capture antibody. An antibody conjugated with enzyme binds the formed sandwich. After incubation and washing steps to rid the microplate of unbound substances, a substrate solution is added that reacts with the enzyme-antibody-target complex to produce measurable signal. This cytokine can induce the IFN-gamma production of T cells. The combination of this cytokine and IL12 has been shown to inhibit IL4 dependent IgE and IgG1 production, and enhance IgG2a production of B cells.
