| This super column is packed with DMT-C3(Biotin)-CPG, which is specifically suited for preparation of 3' Biotin labeled oligonucleotides. The biotin moiety is linked to CPG via a three carbon spacer. This support has a succinate linkage to the CPG, which can be cleaved using standard cleavage protocols. Synthesis can proceed in a manner analogous to the use of a normal nucleotide support. The biotin labeling can be detected through the use of enzyme labeled avidin or strepavidin conjugates. The 1000 Å pore size is best suited for the synthesis of DNA sequences up to 100-mers in length. |
