| Goat anti Human POU2F1 antibodyrecognizes the POU domain, class 2, transcription factor 1, also known as NF-A1 Octamer-binding protein 1, Oct-1 Octamer-binding transcription factor 1 or OTF-1.The OCT1 transcription factor was among the first identified members of the POU transcription factor family (summarized by Sturmet al.1993 (PubMed 8314572)). Members of this family contain the POU domain, a 160-amino acid region necessary for DNA binding to the octameric sequence ATGCAAAT (supplied by OMIM, Jul 2010).Goat anti Human POU2F1 antibody detects a band of 94 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
