| Rat anti Mouse CD43 antibody, clone 1B11recognizes mouse CD43, one of the major glycoproteins of thymocytes and T lymphocytes. It has a high content of sialic acid and O-linked carbohydrate groups. CD43 presents carbohydrate lligands to selectins, plays a role in lectin binding and is a counter receptor for Siglec-1.CD43 is expressed on T lymphocytes in two predominant glycoforms. In its ~115 kDa form it is a pan T cell marker, whereas in its ~130 kDa form it is associated with T cell activation. Rat anti Mouse CD43 antibody, clone 1B11 specifically recognizes the 130 kDa glycoform. |

| This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. |
