| Rabbit anti MD-2 antibodyrecognizes MD-2, a member of the Toll/interleukin-1 receptor (TIR) family, a group of proteins which include Toll like receptors. TLR4 requires the binding of MD-2 to its extracellular region for best response to bacterial LPS. MD-2 also enhances TLR4-dependent activation of NF-kappa-beta and cooperates with TLR2 in the response to cell wall components from bacteria. |

| This product is shipped at ambient temperature. It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt. When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed. Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. |
