The cocktail contains inhibitors against the major classes of proteases and phosphatases, targeting aminopeptidases, cysteine and serine proteases and serine/threonine and protein tyrosine phosphatases. To promote the inhibition of metalloproteases, 0.5M EDTA is provided in a separate tube. |
