It regulates neurogenesis in pre-migratory neural crest cells from the dorsal neural tube, and in myogenic progenitors in the presomitic mesoderm and the hypaxial somites. Alternative splicing results in isoforms having different C-termini.

PAX3 Antibody (PA5-85400) in WB Western blot analysis of PAX3 in non-transfected (–) and transfected (+) 293T whole cell extracts using PAX3 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-85400) using 30 µg of sample at a dilution of 1:1000. Prior to incubation with primary antibody, the sample was separated on 7.5% SDS-PAGE.
