靶标信息pdx-1 (pancreas duodenum homeobox-1, also known as IPF-1, IDX-1, and STF-1) is a transcription factor that has been shown to activate insulin, glucokinase, IAPP, and somatostatin gene transcription. Significant interest surrounds this proteins glucose-dependent regulation of insulin gene transcription.Additionally, pdx-1 has been studied for its role in pancreatic development which includes maturation and differentiation of pancreatic precursor cells. Mutations in the pdx-1 gene have been shown to cause pancreatic agenesis, maturity-onset diabetes of the young, and type II diabetes.

PDX1 Antibody (PA5-72207) in IF Immunofluorescent analysis of Pdx1 in HeLa cells. Samples were first fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized wit 0.1% Triton X-100. Cells were incubated with Pdx1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72207) using a dilution of 1:25. Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green) with a dilution of 1:400 was used as the secondary antibody. Cytoplasmic actin was detected with Alexa Fluor 555 conjugated with Phalloidin at 1:100 dilution (red). PDX1 Antibody (PA5-72207) in WB Western blot analysis of (Mouse) Pdx1 in mouse pancreas tissue lysate using 20 µg of protein per lane. Samples were probed with (Mouse) Pdx1 polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-72207) with a dilution of 1:1000, and a goat anti-rabbit IgG H and L (HRP) secondary antibody with a dilution of 1:10000.
