| BHQ®-3 Glycolate CPG is used to add the non-fluorescent quencher BHQ-3 to the 3' end of an oligonucleotide. BHQ-3 quencher has maximal absorption in the 620 to 730 nm range, which provides excellent quenching of fluorophores emitting in this range, eg CAL Fluor® Red 635, Cy™5, Cy5.5, Pulsar® 650 and Quasar® 670. BHQ-3 Glycolate CPG has a glycolate linkage to the CPG support. The glycolate linker allows for rapid cleavage of the oligonucleotides and is labile enough for base sensitive oligonucleotides. The 500 Å CPG is useful for the synthesis of oligos up to 50-mers in length, especially when larger amounts of product are desired, as it allows for greater nucleoside loading amounts than do supports with larger pore sizes. |

| Synthesis conditions:We recommend only using fast deprotecting amidites with this product due to the mild cleavage and deprotection conditions.Deprotection conditions:Cleave and deprotect in concentrated NH4OH for 1 hour at 60 °C (after 1 hour at 60 °C, degradation of product may occur).If product is left out in the open or exposed to heat for long periods degradation will occur.
