| Rabbit anti Human annexin VI antibodyrecognizes human annexin VI (ANXA6), otherwise known as lipocortin VI. Annexin VI is a calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein and member of the annexin family which acts as an inhibitor of phospholipase A2. This protein is implicated in endocytosis and in the mediation of endosome aggregation and vesicle fusion in secreting epithelia during exocytosis.Rabbit anti Human annexin VI antibody detects ANXA6 as a band of 68 kDa in human cell line lysates. Cross reactivity with rodent cell lines is also observed. |
