| Rabbit anti p27/Kip1 antibodyrecognizes cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor p27 (p27), also known as cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1B or p27Kip1. The protein is a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor (CKI) that belongs to the Cip/Kip protein family (Cerqueiraet al.2014). As the name implies, CKIs play a role in the regulation of cyclin-dependent kinases (CDKs) and cyclin-CDK complexes (Cerqueiraet al.2014).Aberrant p27Kip1. levels have been reported in breast and colorectal cancers (Sgambatoet al.1997,Oginoet al.2007). |
