| Rabbit anti Human CD147recognizes CD147 also known as basigin, OK blood group antigen, collagenase stimulatory factor or extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer.The protein encoded by this gene is a plasma membrane protein that is important in spermatogenesis, embryo implantation, neural network formation, and tumor progression. The encoded protein is also a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008).Rabbit anti Human CD147 antibody detects bands of 37-58 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
