| Rabbit anti Human ATP2A3 antibodyrecognizes ATP2A3 also known as sarcoplasmic/endoplasmic reticulum calcium ATPase 3, ATPase Ca(2+)-transporting ubiquitous, SR Ca(2+)-ATPase 3, calcium pump 3 or calcium-translocating P-type ATPase.ATP2A3 gene encodes one of the SERCA Ca(2+)-ATPases, intracellular pumps located in the sarcoplasmic or endoplasmic reticula of muscle cells. This enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with the translocation of calcium from the cytosol to the sarcoplasmic reticulum lumen, and is involved in calcium sequestration associated with muscular excitation and contraction. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms (provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008).Rabbit anti Human ATP2A3 antibody detects a band of 114 kDa. The antibody has been extensively validated for western blotting using whole cell lysates. |
