It regulates neurogenesis in pre-migratory neural crest cells from the dorsal neural tube, and in myogenic progenitors in the presomitic mesoderm and the hypaxial somites. Alternative splicing results in isoforms having different C-termini.

PAX3 Antibody (MA5-31583) in WB Western blot analysis of PAX3 in U87-MG whole cell and nuclear extract using PAX3 monoclonal antibody (Product # MA5-31583) using 30 µg of sample at a dilution of 1:1000. Sample was then incubated with HRP-conjugated anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody. Prior to incubation with primary antibody, the sample was separated on 10% SDS-PAGE.
