靶标信息IPF is a transcriptional activator of several genes, including insulin, somatostatin, glucokinase, islet amyloid polypeptide, and glucose transporter type 2. This nuclear protein is involved in the early development of the pancreas and plays a major role in glucose-dependent regulation of insulin gene expression. Defects in this gene are a cause of pancreatic agenesis, which can lead to early-onset insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM), as well as maturity onset diabetes of the young type 4 (MODY4).

| PDX1 Antibody (PA5-14824) in IF Immunofluorescent analysis of U251 cells stained with an IPF polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-14824). U251 cells were fixed with 4% PFA (20 min), permeabilized with Triton X-100 (0.1%, 10 min), then incubated with an IPF polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-14824) (1:25, 1 hr at 37°C). Primary antibody was detected with fluor-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit secondary antibody (green) at 1:400 dilution for 50 min at 37°C). Actin filaments have been labeled with dye-conjugated phalloidin (red). Nuclei were counterstained with DAPI (blue) (10 µg/mL, 10 min). PDX1 Antibody (PA5-14824) in WB Western blot analysis using an IPF polyclonal antibody (Product # PA5-14824) in U-937 cell lysates (35 µg per lane). |
